A Glimpse Into The Future
Every day that passes I have watched my children's relationship bloom. Sometimes it seems like they are both old souls that have already spent many lifetimes together as family. Now, I can't believe that I didn't want another child after having Troy. I gave him the best gift ever. A friend to share memories, vacations, rainy afternoons, water balloon fights, late night giggles, tears (hopefully not too many), eye-rolls directed to us, adventures (imagined and real) with. And Genevieve...you are quite the gal to put up with your crazy brother's antics already.
Man oh man, I can't wait to see what the future holds for these two!

Trooper
Well, our little man has broken his first bone. I always really knew that this was likely at some point in his life but I didn't think it would happen this early. He is still just a baby. Here's the short story of how it happened...the stairs got the best of him. He has been such a trooper so far. It astounds me how this little fella is so resilient and brave. Hasn't stopped him a beat. In a month his left arm will have its freedom back but in the meantime we just keep on truckin'.

Labor Day 2012
This Labor Day we ventured up to the Shiner lake house for some fun in the sun. We enjoyed some great company and great food.
